Stray Dog
They got him as a puppy, their son was just so happy
A few months past and now the puppy is very unhappy
Alone in the corner it sits,
A couple of weeks have past, trying to remember,
When was the last? Last time I've been petted or on a walk,
Gotten something to eat, well, past yeah I was in the past,
And I had a blast, but the little boy just did not care,
I don't think that's fair,
Now I sleep on the ground at the park,
Some people feed me, or others say leave that dog alone it's a stray,
How is that my fault I'm a stray, I just can't say,
I would pay a million just to go back in the past or even to remember the past,
But now I'm in a shelter waiting for a better place,
Today'™s my last day then I will go to the heavens
Oh but wait there is my family waiting outside my kennel,
Oh but never mind they want the cute puppy next door,
Oh well what can I say, just another day,
Today is the last day or you know what's next
Then suddenly I feel a hand go on my neck,
Oh it's my new owner, thank the lord that's in the past
